Spent a lovely afternoon here walking around the lake with the dogs. Took about 1hr to walk around the Great Lake approx 3km. Underfoot is sand and mud mixture with occasional tree roots sticking up so make sure you have appropriate foot ware. We came just after storm Ciaran, so one area was completely flooded but managed to get through by straying off the path a little to get past the huge puddle that blocked the path. Huge car park with cafe and toilets in but didn’t use either so can’t comment on what they are like. Guessing in the summer gets very busy as plenty of little beaches scattered around the lakes to relax. Shame swimming and bbq aren’t allowed as this would really make it a better attraction in the summer months, perhaps this is something they may consider in the future if it can be done safely. As for us, dogs and adults loved walking around here and may come back before our holiday ends for another walk. Paying for parking was easy by card just before we left.

Lovely great big country park with a beautiful artificial lake (it's actually a flooded quarry). Parking is pretty good but a little complicated because it doesn't use the same app as everywhere else in north Norfolk and the app has a different name to the one posted on the signs at the car park.

It's a very beautiful place to explore and look at, greatful they had nice cabin toilets, sucks cafe werent open ( we went on a Saturday in July) We went as we're wild swimmers and had seen other people's pics of them swimming, got there and it's a No Swimming site! With pics and signs everywhere, which was very confusing after seeing so many pics of dogs and people swimming! Would really like to know if it's because we hadn't found the right part of if it is a total Non swim site!

The only thing I was slightly disappointed with was the cost of the parking. At £2.50 an hour it soon adds up. That being said the place is stunning. There was plenty of parking and lots of mini beaches dotted around the lake. Its a fantastic place to spend time enjoying nature with the family. Will definitely be going back.

We really like it here when it's quiet so try to avoid really hot days as we also like to walk round it with our dog, lovely scenery and views over the lakes, this time we also had lunch at the burger bar which was reasonably priced with friendly service.

Pretty magical inland lake and beach - quite unique and extraordinary! Dog friendly, quite in the mornings and the local dog walkers and very friendly and chatty 😀 …

This place is new and has lots of potential. It has a very very spacious car park with all day parking. It is a must pay system as your number plate is logged. There is a new food and drink stand just started up. It had only been there a week whilst I was there. The staff are EXTREMELY helpful and very nice to talk to. The paths around the park are accessible for wheelchairs. There is a lake with a lovely beach. LOVED IT!!

We love taking a walk around here with the dog. There is so much space and loads of places to explore. The views are amazing across the lake and the dog loves a paddle. There is a food stand on site and parking is cheap. The staff are very friendly and love a chat about all the new things they’ve got going on in the future. Great place for all ages.
